While we weren’t lucky enough to find our selves in Switzerland this week, the automotive industry’s best and brightest traveled to the Geneva Motor Show to check out the fastest, sleekest, and most technologically savvy cars of 2016. Though many aspects of the show would stand out to your average car fanatic, we noticed something of particular relevance to our work at Haft2: the emerging trend of two-toned paint!
Two-tone cars first came on the scene in the 1950’s, but quickly deteriorated in popularity, with the exception of the odd panel van or police cruiser. While some of the earlier examples may be better left in the past, there’s no doubt that, when done the right way, two-toned paint can be quite easy on the eyes. Whether adding a subtle trim or going half and half, driving a car of only one colour seems so passé, don’t you think?
